Special EBC*L Arab World - GIZ project successfully delivered in Tunisia

EBC*L Arab World in cooperation with GIZ (link) and Easy Business has successfully delivered a unique e-Learning project in Hammamet - Tunisia. 27 candidates participated in the project and have taken an EBC*L Level “A” examination on the 9th December.
Before the training, the participants have already fulfilled the first preparatory phase with the completion of the e-Learning programme in Arabic language. What also added to this project that the candidates were the first students in the Middle East and North Africa who used the Arabic e-Learning platform in their preparatory phase, which was for the Arabic exam of level “A”. All candidates were very satisfied with this initiative which is visible from one of the participants, Touta Thouraya's comment on the Facebook site of EBC*L Arab World: "This will always remain in our hearts. We will never forget the EBC*L experience. Distances and times cannot affect our relationship and memories."
Between 7th and 9th December, Dr. Mohamed-Ali Ibrahim together with the EBC*L accredited trainer from SCOPI Academy, Jordan Mr. Ayad Al-Ashram have delivered the final workshop for candidates in Hammamet. As Dr. Mohamed-Ali said: “this initiative was really important for EBC*L Arab World for several reasons. We are not only entered to a new market but also introduced our new e-Learning programme in Arabic language, which will go through some developments in the early future.” The workshop covered the most important components of the EBC*L Level A programme including Business Objectives and Management Ratios, Accounting, Costing and Pricing, and finally Business Law. Following the examination, on the 10th to 11th December all candidates successfully went through a special workshop called "Creating a Business Plan" based on the knowledge acquired during the EBC*L Level A course. During the workshop, Dr. Ibrahim also covered some parts from EBC*L Level B which apply with project management, thus also contributing to the quality of the presentation.
Overall, the EBC*L Arab World-GIZ-Easy Business project was successfully implemented by all parties. In the early future, EBC*L will prepare further initiative in the Arab world thus contributing to flourishing entrepreneurship and encouraging Arab youth to start their own business.
